Located walking distance from the picturesque village of Darmos, which is part of the DO Montsant wine trail, this 1-hectare (10,260m2) forest finca is easily accessed by bicycle or car through the vineyards that surround the village.

Used for many years as a holiday and weekend retreat, the finca has a purpose-built little casita of 11,63m2. The flat roof of the building was designed to catch rainwater, which is stored in water butts next to the building. The water then gravity feeds to the sink in the outside kitchen/BBQ area.

The casita, which has a woodburner in the main room, is used for storing camping, cycling and picnic gear.

To the front of the building is a built-in seating area, plus large metal poles used for hanging shade-cloth and hammocks in the summer months.

Next to the building the 13,95m2 balsa is used as a swimming pool in summer and for water storage in winter. It has a tiled edge, stairs, and an irrigation point to fill the pool in the months when there is a water connection to the finca.

To the back of the buildings, the land is made up of terraces of pine forest. From the casita and pool, there are unspoilt views over the countryside and vineyards in the distance.

Both the casita and balsa are legally registered.

The village of Darmos has a public swimming pool and numerous wine bodegas, while the town of Mora La Nova is less than 5 minutes' drive from Darmos and has plenty of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and all the other usual amenities. Mora La Nova train station connects it to the coast, Tarragona, Barcelona etc.

Darmos is less than 35 minutes' drive from the beaches of Miami Playa and Hospitalet de l'Infant. Reus airport is 30 minutes drive from Darmos.
