Located in the historic part of the picturesque village of El Pinell de Brai, next to the beautiful Parròquia de Sant Llorenç church, this traditional village house, built in 1880, while not very wide, is deceptively large as it stretches all the way to the street behind.

Filled with character and original features, the 220m2 property has a small garden (approx 13m2) to the rear which is accessed via the cellar under the house or from a wooden gate on the street below.

The door to the cellar is on the left of the entrance hall, while stairs to the first floor are between the lobby and two back rooms, with a traditional privy at the far end.

The first floor is divided into a front living room with wooden French doors and a balcony. Behind this room the traditional dining/cooking area has an open fireplace once used for cooking, and a built-in crockery cupboard.

Down a short passage to the back of the dining room is a pantry with a built-in store cupboard and an old fashioned bread box. The little kitchen has beautiful traditional tiles and a stone kitchen sink.

To the back of the first floor is a small terrace which would have been used to wash clothes. From here there are views into the little garden and over the roof tops to the countryside beyond.

The second floor has a front double bedroom with French doors, a balcony, and a built-in wardrobe with wooden doors. To the back are two further bedrooms, a small covered terrace and stairs to the attic.

From the attic there are views to the church and buildings below from the front of the house, and to the back access to the roof terrace which has panoramic views to the countryside and over the village edge.

All rooms have exposed wooden beams. the floors on each level are sound and the house has a good roof beams.

Electricity and water are connected. There is parking opposite the house, next to the church.
